How do I exchange or return an item?

If your order was missing something, please notify us within 10 days.

Non-Skate Exchange Policy

  • There is no re-stocking fee for exchanges.
  • Please contact us. We will send you the cost of shipping, and once you approve the charge, we will email you a packing slip and the address to send your products to.

    Any items returned not in perfect, new on-the-shelf condition will be returned to the customer at their expense.

Returns Policy

  • The purchaser is responsible for all shipping charges regardless of whether the items were sent originally with Free Shipping.
  • There is a 7% restocking fee for all items returned for a refund.
  • Shipping charges will be deducted from the refund, regardless of whether the items were sent originally with Free Shipping.
  • Please email us for the address to send the skates, and we will send you a Return Authorization Number and a packing slip. This will help speed the processing of your refund.
  • There is a $10 fee to replace damaged skate boxes. Please package carefully. Either place the skate box into another box, or wrap in shipping paper. Do not affix shipping labels nor shipping tape to skate box.
  • Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receiving the skates. There are exceptions made. e.g. Christmas gifts

Items that may not be returned:

  • Create-A-Skate orders
  • Custom order boots and skates
  • Color upgrade boots and skates
  • Size or width upgrade boots and skates
  • Special order items
  • Mounted plates
  • Quad Skates, other than Riedell Catalog Packages, selling for over $500.00
  • Skates where parts were ordered as components and then mounted.
  • Items that clearly state in the description that they may not be returned nor exchanged
If you are ordering a skate that is not returnable we would like to suggest that we ship you the boots in your shoe size for you to try on unless you have been sized for this boot at your local rink. You would then ship them back to us to either be mounted, or you would indicate a different size to be mounted.


Once custom, premium or special order boots have been cut they cannot be cancelled. After 24 hours of placing your order, no changes may be made to the boots.
